Taking A Break
A good friend and customer of ours, Jet LeMonde, sent us a great photo of a past trip to Tibet. Jet describes the shot as "A beautiful beast taking a break between photo ops." The image of a relaxing Yak was taken on his way to the Everest Base Camp in June 2017 at a remote mountain lake. He was on an 8-day tour through Tibet at snapped this incredible photograph up at Yamdrok Lake (about an 6 hour drive from Lhasa).
What is Jet Up To These Days?
Jet LeMonde has launched a publishing company, Beary Tahoe, with their first book, Good Night Tahoe by author Kevin Sullivan. Jet says the company’s mission is to create engaging and entertaining books and activities for young readers to learn about nature, especially the plants and animals in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Lake Tahoe.
