Big Pine Key is part of the southernly Florida Keys and is on a stretch with a small township community that loves their boats, stretches of white sand and amazing views of the sea. The island is known for its primo fishing, deer population, alligators and the invasive Blue Iguanas. I find the little bays and inlets around the island fascinating and you can just feel that the marine wildlife is crazy around these parts. This bracelet is definitely a statement piece and looks like something an old, crusty Hemingway-type of fella would have put together from his beachcombing jaunts. Even though this bracelet looks, jagged, rough and intimidating, it is really, really comfortable. It's one of my all-time favorite pieces because it has quite a unique coastal flavor to it. The colors also reflect some of the red-brown coast and coral colors of the key. The 50 - 65-million-year-old Fossilized Shark Tooth is a nice, long chunky size and reminds you that there are some really big fish out there. It really looks the business. I also added a genuine Florida Keyhole Limpet Shell to add to the brcelet's authentic look and feel. The Bone Mala Skull is there to remind you that you always have the wheel...just point her in the direction you want to go...hopefully towards the sunset.
