Bunker Bay is about 3 hours south of Perth in the Southwest part of Western Australia and is know for its gentle shelving shoreline of fine, pure white sand, the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and its limestone cliffs. It's a great place to chill in the warm waters with a board or bring along your snorkel gear when the surf is calm. There is a ton to see when you dip your head under the water...but remember you are not the biggest fish in the sea. This piece is all about the marine life. The 50 - 65-million-year-old Fossilized Shark Tooth obviously represents the big fish in the bay and the Fish Vertebrae is what it finds in the bay. The Blue Turquoise Jasper resembles the color of that water and the Coconut Wood and Carved Yak Bone tie in a little of the coastal vegetation. The Bone Mala Skull with Puka Hat is to remind you as you grow old, make sure you spend as much time seeing the sunny sea as possible. Bring cocktails to share please.
Check out the About Artisan Page for detailed info on the Fossilized Shark Teeth used by the Artisan.
