This is dedicated to the sharks that cruise the channels at dusk to inspect their turf and to ring the dinner bell for supper. I often thought about the times when I was sitting on a board or floating in the ocean just when the sun was going down and having the sudden realization of what may be swimming underneath. What was that dark shadow? What was that quick change in sea temperature? What was that sudden push of water? I'll never know...but it reminds me of our finned brothers and sisters who make their rounds every night and never bother us as we float like buoys in the sea. This piece is made with a 50 - 65-million-year-old Fossilized Shark Tooth, Blue Dumortierite Stone that resembles the color of the water at dusk, Black Lava Rock to represent the coral channels (the Lava Rock is NOT from Hawaii so you are good Cuz!) and Fish Vertebrae to represent what big brother and sister is hunting for. I added a Bone Mala Skull to remind you how safe the sea is if you pay it the proper respect it deserves. Aloha...
