This bracelet is inspired by one of the most beautiful communal villages in all of France, Eus. It runs down the slopes of the Pyrenees in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France and supposedly gets more sun that any village of France. It's been around awhile (one of its churches dates back to the 10th century) and once belonged in Spanish hands. Eus is just in one of those amazing, little medieval places that you need to explore. Its winding cobblestoned streets lined with cacti and fruit trees lead up to the top of the serene village square. It takes a while to hike...not because of the distance, but because of the constant stops and starts taking those dang photos. Once you get to the top and gaze at the spellbinding views of the Pyrenees. This piece was made to have the look & feel of the architecture, especially its colors and textures. The Chocolate Brown Labradorite, Water Buffalo Bone and Hand-Carved Jerusalem Wood do just that. The HUGE Bone Mala Skull is a shout-out to the ones who have resided there for centuries. The Antique 1923 10 Centimes French Coin adds a nice authenticity---hey the coin is now 100 years old! Think you will dig this piece 'o bling on your wrist...it's a nice statement piece. So, if you're in that part of France, head out to Eus and you'll see how this bracelet reflects its namesake. It is suggested that you also bring a Bota Bag while tooling around the village...don't know who suggested it though.
