'Jamaica Farewell' is a nostalgic narrative about a man leaving the beautiful island of Jamaica and his loved one to go off and explore the world. The folk song was made famous in 1956 by Harry Belefonte and popularized Caribbean music. You know you’re singing it right now. Like many folk songs, dreaming about getting away to explore the world is constantly calling many of us. However, trying to get away from Jamaica must be crazy right? Even the song mentions "Sad to say I'm on my way...won't be back for many a day...my heart is down, my head is turning around..." which means he wants to go back to Jamaica! Palm trees, white sandy beaches, happy people and good vibes...how could ya leave??? Well, this bracelet is made for the person who has been there and wants to take a little piece of that beautiful island with them. This piece does have a great vibe and feel to it. The Tagua Nut Beads adds that colorful Jamaican pop, the Coconut Wood brings in the native island vibe and the Puka Shell will remind you of those warm, aqua blue waters…ahhhhh. The Bone Mala Skull represents the Rastafarian spirit that will follow you wherever you go in this world. Cool runnings...
