The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago off the coast of Africa and the volcanic cliffs off the island of Tenerife, the Acantilados de Los Gigantes, are quite the site to behold! They are magnificent and for some reason they make you feel insignificant. Hey, that rhymes! These cliffs just resemble something out of the mysterious ancient world. However, right off those big rocks is a big, deep blue sea with tons of marine life. What cruises below the surface of those remote waters? There are some big sharks that cruise those areas for sure and that's what inspired this bracelet. The Agate and Coconut Wood resemble the colors and textures of the cliffs. The Driftwood, Keyhole Limpet Shell and Puka Shell remind you of what pound against the base of those cliffs and the Fossilized Shark Tooth signifies one of our big-toothed brothers making the rounds. This piece has an interesting organic feel to it and looks like it was made with pieces that you found on the beach just down the coast. It's worth the boat jaunt out there to slowly cruise the cliffs...just make sure you have plenty of petrol and remember what lurks below your feet.
