This piece is not inspired by the famous Bing Crosby and Bob Hope movie 'Road To Morocco'...well...maybe just a tiny little bit...mainly the name. Morocco conjures up all kinds of things like the distinct architecture, rich aromatic spices, a nomadic life, the vastness of the desert and the simple romance of the heart. The colors and textures in this bracelet remind me of being on top of an ancient, sandstone rooftop at sunset, lying on a few pillows and gazing over a golden and crimson landscape while the sun goes down...with a cup of mint tea in-hand of course (Attay). The Antique Tin/Copper Bead resembles a tattered Moroccan Lamp shining at dusk and the Glazed Pottery Beads have a nice, subtle iridescent that give this bracelet a nice pop---looks like the same shimmer on grains of sand. The Olive Wood and Hand-Carved Yak Bone add the old world feel. This definitely has a Middle Eastern flavor to it and the HUGE Bone Mala Skull is there to remind you how grand life really is. All roads do lead to Morocco...
