Sambuca Di Silcilia is a picturesque, local comune community in the Italian Region of Sicily and is roughly 45 miles southwest of Palermo. It was founded by ancient Greek colonists way way back in the day and rose to prominence in the 19th century. It is perched on a big hill and is surrounded by similar hills and nice wooded valleys. No one knows where the name came from---we know it's not from the famous liqueur from the mainland. Talk about churches though---it's got about 20 crammed up on that rock. However, Sambuca has recently been declining due to people moving away and to a low birth rate. How can that happen is such a beautiful place? You'll have to go find out for yourself. In the meantime, you can sport this bracelet! It does have Sambuca's flavor and texture written all over it. The Leopard Fur Jasper, Yak Bone and Crocodile Wood so resemble the ancient, textured walls of the buildings on either side of those tiny, cobbled streets. The Large Hand-Carved Yak Horn Bead adds a little local sum sum to it. The Small Bone Mala Skull represents you walking into the town for the very first time and the Huge Hand-Carved Bone Skull is how you feel after discovering its genuine beauty. It's the perfect little place to discover off the beaten path. Time now for a Sambuca in Sambuca because I'm thirsty.
