So many places claim to have the clearest and most aqua blue waters in the world. Well, Sardinia has to be at the top of the list. Its serene waters and sandy/pebble white beaches are so hard to beat. Floating with a cocktail in-hand is as good as it gets and the shimmer off that water is sooooo mesmerizing. Most travelers focus on Sicily or other islands in the Mediterranean, but ya gotta get to Sardinia to find that watery bliss. The local food and people are great and trying a taste of the Mirto ain’t too dang bad either. I got these Aqua Blue Glass Beads off an old antique necklace years ago. As soon as I saw the aqua blue color, I instantly thought of Sardinia’s shimmering waters.
