The Dolomites in Northern Italy are mind-blowing! They almost look like some sort of fake backdrop on your photos. They just jut up out of the ground and look like they are still trying to reach the heavens. If you have had the chance to see them from one of the valleys below, you swear you're in a fairy tale book. There are tons of week-long hiking trails up and through the Dolomites and it's also a climber’s paradise. Hit the town of Cortina d’Ampezzo for a charming place to wander when off the trails and do take the cable car to Cima Tofana for the Aiyiyi view. The fact that you are also in Northern Italy with all that great food and vino everywhere isn't too bad either. Even though these mountains look like a cross between Switzerland, Mammoth and Yosemite, they stand out due to their unique color. The Dolomites are also known as the "Pale Mountains" because they take their name from the carbonate rock dolomite. When I first saw these Agate Beads, I instantly thought of The Dolomite Alps. The grains of the stone are just too cool. I included some River Rock and some Aged Smooth Water Buffalo Bone Beads to add to the color palate and texture of this bracelet. There are also some Hand-Carved Water Buffalo Bone Beads which add a little touch of local culture to it. A Vintage Copper Resin Button gives this piece a finished touch. It somewhat resembles a Baroque or honeycomb design to me. A Bone Mala Skull finished this piece off and is there to remind you to always enjoy the moment wherever you are at. Hopefully, it will be while gazing at these magnificent natural wonders.
