This bracelet is just cool to me especially when you get it into the sunlight. I got the idea for this bracelet while at the stern of a ferry boat and watching the colors of the sea churn up. People often think the North Sea's waters are always dark and gray which it can be at times. However, this sea offers such a wide range of colors from dark stormy grays, deep greens, true navy blues to Caribbean-colored aquas. And talk about a rich history! I could spend days about how mankind has battled the waters in this region, but you want to hear about this bracelet right? The Blackened Stainless Steel Nuts signify the old sailing/steamer ships/engines/gears and the Vintage Acrylic Beads remind us of those many different sea colors. I found the beads at an antique store a few weeks later and knew they would be perfect for the composition of this piece. The Antique Ship Button is made in England and represents the many vessels that have crossed it's surface and the Bone Mala Skull represents the salty souls that have perished in those rough seas and still lay below. Keep the lanterns lit boys.
