The Treasure of Sierra Madre is one of the best flicks ever made! It has high adventure, good guys versus bad guys, great story, plot, acting, hardship & toil, madness, doing the right thing, trust and redemption all wrapped up in one movie. It's directed by John Huston and stars Humphrey Bogart (Dobbs), Walter Huston (Howard) and Tim Holt (Curtin) and came out in 1948. And we all know the "We don't need no stinking badges" line which is now famous in pop culture. This bracelet is based entirely on than movie. It has 2 Bone and 1 Wood Mala Skulls to represent the 3 main characters in which one of them goes mad (the wood one). The Stone Beads which have ingrained red speckles throughout represent the blood, sweat and tears of our characters who chip away at the chalky stone in the mine. The Brass represents the gold they are trying to dig from the hills and the Picture Jasper and Yak Bone look like the surrounding terrain. I also added a Vintage 1966 Cinco Pesos Coin which represents the lucky coin Dobbs uses to pay for the lottery ticket---that ticket starts the adventure. Now go sport this bracelet and do the Walter Huston dance!
