Wangumbaug Lake, or Coventry Lake, is a small, picturesque spot of water right in the heart of Connecticut. It's less than 2 miles long, only about 35-40 ft. deep and is surrounded by thick woods, quaint homes and small farms. It's one of those little gems that reminds you of summer camp as a kid and it’s a great place to picnic with friends along its banks. The waters can look quite blue during certain parts of the year which are appealing for swimmers, fishermen and people out taking a glide in a canoe. It’s a small piece of Americana which inspired this bracelet. The Recycled Glass literally does reflect the blue color of that water. The Palm Wood, Crocodile Wood and Coconut Wood have the look of those wooded areas around those banks. The Yak Bone adds a little of the local flavor of the Nipmuc who first settled in the area. The term Wangumbaug means "Crooked Pond." The Large Bone Mala Skull is very cool and has some unique scratches on it that adds a lot of character. It's there to remind you of how happy you will be to take a long run off one of the many short piers to jump into its cool blue water. Try a Cannonball or Can Opener to make a real splash!
